Liquid silver, tell
my love that moonlight needs the
sun as I need him.

She Must Be So Sweet
My rival is a licorice whip;
I am a walnut.
She's whipped cream;
I'm liver and onions--or bacon.
She's sugar;
I'm salt.
I cannot win his affections.
She must be so sweet
to make him love her.
She must be sweet.
I am a walnut.
She's whipped cream;
I'm liver and onions--or bacon.
She's sugar;
I'm salt.
I cannot win his affections.
She must be so sweet
to make him love her.
She must be sweet.

Thinking Outside the Box
Squeeky thought outside the box.
Why be confined? the cat thought.
So, he made his owner angry.
Now she misses Squeeky.
The owner replaced him with a gray bird.
who squawks a lot and stays in her cage.
She too thinks outside the box.
But only in her dreams on her perch!
Why be confined? the cat thought.
So, he made his owner angry.
Now she misses Squeeky.
The owner replaced him with a gray bird.
who squawks a lot and stays in her cage.
She too thinks outside the box.
But only in her dreams on her perch!

Dandelions
Lovely, bouncy fluffs
Of gold against the clover.
And they call you weeds.
Of gold against the clover.
And they call you weeds.
